Evaluation Stakeholder Meeting
Thank you to everyone who attended the Stakeholder Evaluation Meeting, in person or by webcast, on Tuesday, December 10, 2019. The Future Energy Jobs Act requires independent evaluation of the Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) program, including using objective criteria developed through a public stakeholder process. If you have any feedback on the evaluation of the development, implementation, and outcomes of ILSFA, please email our third-party evaluator APPRISE by Friday, January 3, 2020. They are especially interested in feedback on additional metrics that the evaluation could address.

Non-Profit/Public Facilities Update
Thank you to the ILSFA Approved Vendors who have submitted projects for the Non-Profit/Public Facilities sub-program. As of December 11, 2019, the Renewable Energy Credit (REC) value of projects submitted (including both those approved by the Illinois Commerce Commission and those under review) exceeds the available 2019-2020 program year budget. If projects under review are found to be ineligible or withdraw, funds may become available again. Approved Vendors are welcome to submit batches of projects to secure their place in line on a first-come, first-served basis.
Distributed Generation Update
Project submissions from Approved Vendors are being accepted on a rolling basis for the Low-Income Distributed Generation sub-program. Keep up with the sub-program’s status through the Project Dashboard, which will be updated as projects are submitted and reviewed.
Grassroots Education Spotlight
The Ecology Action Center (EAC) is an environmental education agency in Central Illinois that teaches income-eligible residents and non-profits about the benefits of ILSFA. Check out the upcoming educational events being hosted by our Grassroots Educators, which cover energy bill basics, solar 101, and ILSFA program details, participation eligibility, and next steps.
