The Solar Energy Contractor Clinic seeks to educate and inform current and potential contractors about participating in the solar energy economy through the Illinois Shines and Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) programs, as well as the grant funding opportunities for solar development available through the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity. Presentations will be held by solar companies participating in Illinois Shines and ILSFA who seek solar energy graduates and trainees available for on-the-job training.
Contractors and small and emerging businesses are strongly encouraged to register and attend this one-day workshop event on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT at Illinois Central College in East Peoria, IL. The program agenda includes:
- Illinois Shines Program (Equity Eligible Contractors and Persons)
- Illinois Solar for All Program (Types of Vendors, Renewable Energy Credits)
- Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity – Equitable Energy Future Grant & Community Solar Energy Sovereignty Grant
