Solstice

Community Solar Subscriber

Solstice was founded on the belief that every household can be powered by affordable renewable energy. They organize, educate, and innovate to make solar accessible to the 77% of Americans that can't install panels on their own roof – either because they rent their home, their roof is shaded, or they don't have the savings for panels. Solstice has enabled over 10,000 renters and homeowners nationwide to subscribe to shared solar farms in their neighborhood, support clean energy, and save money on their monthly electric bills, all without paying extra for their power or making changes to their home. No community should be left behind – especially those that stand to benefit most from savings and cleaner air. Solstice has received recognition from the Department of Energy, Inc Magazine, the Sierra Club, and Renewable Energy World for its work to expand solar access to low-to-moderate income Americans and is thrilled to participate in the Illinois Solar For All Program.
