Illinois Solar for All is pleased to announce the Approved Vendors selected to serve the community areas within the Illinois Solar for All: Bright Neighborhoods initiative. The selected Approved Vendors are:
- Sol Power Midwest – Chicago Westside Neighborhoods
- 1 Earth Solar – Waukegan
- Advanced Renewable Concepts – Carbondale-Marion Micropolitan Area
The selected Approved Vendors will install residential solar projects in their specific community areas. The program administrator has been doing outreach to homeowners in these communities since the beginning of the program year. They will also help Illinois Solar for All identify ways to reduce barriers and increase overall participation. Additionally, two selected vendors are small and emerging businesses, and one is a Minority-Owned Business, which aligns with the program’s goals of creating greater access for smaller firms.
