Illinois Solar for All released a new “To Be Determined” process for the Illinois Solar for All: Community Solar sub-program for our Approved Vendors.
For Approved Vendors with multiple projects available with the same offer, “To Be Determined” Disclosure Forms allow subscription managers to complete a disclosure form with potential Community Solar subscribers before assignment to a specific project. This process went into effect alongside the opening of the Community Solar submission window on October 7, 2024.
Under this new process, Approved Vendors will manage participants interested in signing up for a Community Solar subscription agreement while the Approved Vendor is still looking for a suitable Community Solar offer at the time of enrollment. Approved Vendors must administer this process in accordance with Section V of the Consumer Protection Handbook.
