Illinois Solar for All has released the updated design and response to stakeholder feedback for the Home Repairs and Upgrades initiative. The updated design for the 2024-2025 program year includes the following adjustments to support the goals of the initiative:
- Eliminating the need for written communication regarding external funding
- Increasing the cost cap for electrical repairs and upgrades to $6,550
- Increasing the cost cap for roofing and structural repairs and upgrades to $14,000
- Adding a $450 administrative flat fee for each Home Repairs and Upgrades project
Approved Vendors are now invited to submit projects in the Approved Vendor portal on behalf of participants to apply for additional incentives through the initiative. The Initiative accepts applications on a rolling basis. Information on the Home Repairs and Upgrades Initiative will be available on the Illinois Solar for All website in the coming weeks.
