The Illinois Power Agency and Illinois Solar for All Program Administrator (“Program Team”) are pleased to announce the selection of solar companies that will serve as Approved Vendors in three community areas within the Residential Solar Pilot.

The Approved Vendors and their respective communities are:

• Selenium Energy – West Garfield Park, Chicago
• UpSouth Energy – Waukegan
• UpSouth Energy – Carbondale-Marion Micropolitan Area

These approved solar companies will support installations in areas historically underserved by the Illinois Solar for All: Residential Solar (Small) sub-program and will also aid the Program Administrator in identifying ways to reduce barriers and increase overall participation. The Program Team looks forward to working with these small and emerging businesses through the Pilot initiative, which will launch on August 1, 2023.
