The Illinois Solar for All (ILSFA) Program Administrator and the Illinois Power Agency (IPA) seek public comment on the Residential Solar Pilot Proposal and will hold a webinar discussing the pilot on February 8.
The 2022 Long-Term Renewable Resources Procurement Plan (the 2022 Plan) outlines a planned Program Delivery Pilot to address the Illinois Solar for All: Residential Solar (Small) sub-program not reaching the full participation level possible with the annual budget. Moving forward, the pilot is referred to as the Residential Solar Pilot. The proposed pilot intends to increase Residential Solar participation by reducing several barriers reported by Approved Vendors and prospective participants.
The Residential Solar Pilot Proposal and the Request for Comment documents contain details on the proposed program and questions for stakeholder feedback.
Stakeholders may comment on as many or as few of the questions in the Request for Comment as they would like. Also, stakeholders should not feel limited by the questions offered in the Request for Comment and may provide comments on the proposal beyond the scope of these questions. Responses to the Request for Comment are due no later than Wednesday, February 15, at 5 p.m. CT.
Stakeholders may submit responses to: comments@IllinoisSFA.com.
Additionally, the ILSFA Program Administrator has scheduled a webinar to review the Residential Solar Pilot proposal for Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 12 to 1 p.m. CT. The webinar will give stakeholders the opportunity to learn more about the pilot and have their questions answered by the ILSFA Program Administrator.
The webinar is open to the public. To register, please email info@illinoisSFA.com with the subject line “ILSFA Residential Pilot Webinar.” Include your name and email address in your email and we will send you the webinar link.
