The 2022-2023 program year funding for the Illinois Solar for All: Non-Profit and Public Facilities sub-program ($16.82 million) has been fully allocated. The ILSFA Program Administrator determined that 4 Non-Profit and Public Facilities solar projects were eligible after they were submitted during the rolling submission window. These projects will be sent to the Illinois Commerce Commission for approval, joining the 29 Non-Profit and Public Facilities projects approved earlier in the program year.
On January 13, it was announced the project review completion included an estimate of $2.4 million remaining in the 2022-2023 program year budget for the Non-Profit and Public Facilities sub-program. The Program Administrator subsequently identified an error in how eligible project information was included in determining that amount. After updating the funding allocated to approved projects, the correct amount of funding remaining available for the sub-program is only $977,301.59. This is the amount that was available for projects submitting to the rolling submission window that opened on January 19, 2023, and has since been filled.
Approved Vendors may submit Non-Profit and Public Facilities projects until February 13, 2023 at 5 p.m. CT. These projects will be placed on a waitlist should previously approved projects withdraw from the program. Approved Vendors should be aware that sub-program waitlists from the 2022-2023 program year will not be used after May 31, 2023.
Funding for the 2022-2023 program year is still available for the Residential Solar sub-programs. Approved Vendors may submit batches of projects on a first-come, first-served basis until Wednesday, May 31, 2023, or until the annual sub-program budget is exhausted, whichever comes first.
