The Illinois Solar for All Program Administrator is writing to clarify an inaccuracy included in the Program Year 2020-2021 Project Selection Protocol, published on June 18, 2020.
On page 25 of the Project Selection Protocol, at the bottom of the “Prioritization 3: General Selection” table (within the “Table 2. Low-Income Community Solar” section), the Protocol reads, “If the cumulative incentive value for entire portfolio, after balancing on group, has <30% below or above the 250 kW threshold, select projects in underrepresented category until 30% is reached.”
The “250 kW threshold” cited is incorrect as it contradicts page 16 of the Protocol, which lists “Project Size (500 kW)” as the Community Solar attribute that is assessed and, if necessary, balanced during the General Selection Stage.
Therefore, the previously cited sentence on page 25 should read, “If the cumulative incentive value for entire portfolio, after balancing on group, has <30% below or above the 500 kW threshold, select projects in underrepresented category until 30% is reached.”
This change has been made to the updated version of the Project Selection Protocol, published October 19, 2020.
